Soccer- RecKids, Age 4-5 - Soccer- RecKids, Age 4-5 RecKids Soccer will introduce children aged 4-5 to the skills necessary for playing soccer. The program is designed to teach the fundamentals of the game. Youngsters will learn, practice, and develop their soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere. There are no games in this program. No special equipment is needed. Each participant will receive a RecKids T-shirt. Equipment: Balls will be supplied for the program. Rookies 2 is a program specifically designed for 2nd graders to learn and prepare for the 3rd-5th Grade Soccer programs through practices and scrimmages. Note: The Rookies and Rookies 2 programs will be combined if there are not enough registered participants to offer two separate programs. Kick-Off: Saturday, September 5 Boys- 8:15-9:15 am Girls- 9:20-10:20 amPractices/Scrimmages: Saturdays: 1/2-hour practice followed by 1/2-hour scrimmage each week.Equipment: Ball for practices- Size 3 ball Ball Purchase- You can purchase a ball during registration. We rely on parents and community members to volunteer their time to coach groups of children seeking a positive youth sports experience.
