Fencing is an exciting Olympic sport that develops strength, agility, fitness, and mental focus. It is also a fun recreational sport enjoyed by a growing number of Vermont adults. If you are looking to try something new, or your inner swashbuckler has a bucket list, come try it out! We will cover footwork and blade work for epee, safety, and courtesy protocols, and have you "on the strip" in no time. This class is for complete beginners with no fencing background, and is geared toward mature adults.

Instructor: Karen Cutler
Bio: Karen started fencing in 2013 and never looked back. She is a member of the Vermont Fencing Alliance, and fences at local, regional, and national competitions. She is an after-school ski program instructor (Level 2) and presents a monthly after-school STEAM program for middle schoolers at the Library.
