Run/Walk sponsored by the Williston-Richmond Rotary.
The 2025 Deb Beckett Memorial 5K Run and Walk, sponsored by the Williston-Richmond Rotary Club, will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the Williston Village Community Park. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome. There will be separate registration tables for adults and kids.
Check-in for all walks and runs opens at 7:30 am. Please check in as early as possible. There will be signage from Williston Road to the registration/start area.
5K Walk/Run
Walkers should arrive at the park for check-in no later than 8:15 am for an 8:45 am start.
Runners should arrive at the park no later than 8:45 am for a 9:15 am start.
Kids Runs
This year will also feature a ½ mile and a 1-mile Kids Run for children 4-12 years of age. Children may opt to participate in the 5K run or walk, or either of the Kids Runs. There are no fees or pre-registration for the Kids Runs. An adult must accompany each participant to the race site and sign a registration form. The accompanying adult is welcome but not required to run with their child or children. Arrangements have been made for adults to run with and supervise the kids.
Kids Run participants and accompanying adults should arrive at the park for check-in no later than 8:00 am for an 8:30 am start of the 1-mile run and an approximately 8:35 am start of the 1/2 mile Run.
Pre-registration:
The deadline for pre-registration is June 22, 2024.
Pre-registration is $25 for participants 17 years and older and $15 for those 16 and under.
Pre-registered walkers and runners are guaranteed a souvenir race shirt and water bottle.
On-site registration
$30 for participants 17 years and older and $20 for 16 and under.
Shirts and water bottles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
NOTES:
Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishing runners in each age and gender grouping and to the top 3 finishing walkers.
Champ will be making an appearance once again this year.
In the event of a possible weather or air quality-related cancellation, a group Email will be sent to all pre-registered participants advising them of the status of the race. The Email will be updated up to 7:00 am on race day. In addition, race status will also be updated on the website. If cancelled, the race will be rescheduled as soon as possible on a Saturday.
