Williston Learn to Ski/Ride

This is general information on the Learn to Ski/Ride program that is offered each year.  This is not the page to register on.  When registration is open you will find the registration page under the "After-School Programs" Column on the Program Listing under the Register Tab above.

The program is offered in the Winter each year- Jan.-March.

Registration opens in September each year.

The program is offered as a partnership with the Recreation Dept and the Williston Schools.

The program is for Kindergarten through 8th grade.  The program is offered on Wednesdays, early dismissal days.

The program is an instructional one.  All participants are required to be in lessons during the program.  The upper levels will be given free time to ski or snowboard after the lesson time.

The program is held at Cochran's Ski Area.

Skiing or Snowboarding is offered with the following options:
   Transportation- by school bus after school
   No Transportation
   Loan of Equipment for the program
   Student Instructor- (7th & 8th graders are invited by Lead Instructors to be Student instructors).
