Senior Community Meals, Age 60+

Senior adults in line to get food

We’re thrilled to announce that on Tuesdays, the Recreation Department and Age Well will offer a free meal from 12:00–1:00 PM for anyone aged 60+ and their spouse, regardless of age. Check-in begins at 11:30 AM, with meals served at noon.

Following lunch, enjoy a free senior-focused program from 1:00–2:00 PM. Stay, connect, and take part in engaging activities tailored just for you!

Registering for Meals:
  • Space is limited- Advanced registration is required for each community meal. 
  • Registration- You must call or email to register for the meals.

  • Registration Form- An annual registration form is required, which will be done at the first meal you attend. Forms are updated each year.
Note:
  Space is limited, advanced registration is required. Registration for each meal closes one week before the scheduled date, so we encourage you to register for all desired in advance.

Community meals are held at the R.E.C Zone, located at 94 Harvest Lane.
There is a $5 suggested donation per meal, which goes to Age Well.

February 4:
   Menu:
Shepherd's pie w/ corn, mashed potatoes, diced carrots, texas toast, and peaches.
   
Program: Animal Trivia
We were excited to have therapy dogs join us for our upcoming event, but unfortunately, they had to reschedule. However, we’re keeping the fun animal theme alive with an exciting game of Animal Trivia! Join us for a lively challenge covering everything from pets and farm animals to land creatures and sea life. It’s sure to be a great time, so come ready to test your knowledge and learn something new!


February 11:
   Menu:
Wheat spaghetti w/ meatballs, marinara & parmesan cheese, spinach, what roll, and mandarin oranges in orange jello.
   Program: Valentine’s Day Flower Jar Centerpieces
Get creative and help us add a touch of Valentine’s Day charm to our tables! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design beautiful flower jar centerpieces to celebrate the season of love. All materials will be provided, and no experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and enjoy the fun!

February 18:

   Program: Accessible Yoga
Experience the calming benefits of yoga in this special trial class designed for people of all abilities. This peaceful session focuses on gentle movements, breathing, and relaxation techniques, making it accessible to everyone. Don’t miss the chance to try out this new recurring program at the R.E.C. Zone and discover the joy of yoga!
