Snowperson Building Contest
There’s SNOW reason to be bored this January! From January 1 – January 31, anytime the snow flies, get outside and show off your snow-building skills. Build a snowperson, a snow creature, a snow animal, or any snowy creation in a local park or in your own yard! The more creative, the better!
How to Enter:
- Wait for the snow, then get outside and build your masterpiece!
- Take a picture of your creation
- Email your photo to: recreation@willistonvt.org
All entries will be posted on Williston Recreation Facebook page (Facebook), and the picture with the most likes wins a prize!
Tips for Fun:
- Get creative with accessories, carrot noses, button eyes, scarves, hats, or anything that makes your snow creation stand out!
- This contest isn’t just about winning, it’s about having fun, spending time outdoors, and embracing the magic of winter.
- Encourage family and friends to cheer each other on and vote for their favorites online!

Snowman Contest Rules and Guidelines
- Contest entries are for Williston residents.
- Each entrant must build their snow creation between January 1 and January 31, 2026
- All entries must be appropriate for public display.
- Teams/Individuals may use accessories to add to their snowperson.
- Entrants are encouraged to add their own creative touches that will make their snowperson unique. Remember, it doesn’t need to be traditional! Create an animal or your favorite movie character!
- Entries will be available for viewing on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/willistonrecreation/)
- By submitting an entry, contestants grant Williston Recreation permission and authority to use said pictures in any reasonable advertising or promotional activities.
- JUDGING: Winners will be determined from all submissions after January 31, 2026. Winners will be contacted and posted on our website and social media pages. There will be 1 winner.
