Strong Body, Stronger Mind: Creating Inclusive Fitness Space for Adults Living with Dementia and Their Care Partners
During this chat we will discuss prevalence of Alzheimer's and Dementia in Vermont, talk about the latest research involving exercise and active lifestyles in regards to brain health and how to best create a safe and engaging opportunity for community members to take part in group fitness while living with a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis.

Instructor: Jazmin Ferrari
Bio: Jazmin currently works for the Vermont Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in Williston. She is a competitive strength athlete in strongman athletics and highland games and has been teaching group fitness and cardio dance since 2014. With an MS in Health and Physical Activity, Jazmin is excited to bring accessible movement to the 55+ community as they continue to increase brain and body health. 7 years of experience leading group fitness and cardio dance classes, ARC Lifeguard, and First Aid.
