Registration Deadlines
  Early Bird Discount- Sunday, January 4
    $10 off the listed prices below, if registered and paid before the date above. (Williston Residents Only)
    Discount is taken at the time of checkout
    Offline payments, checks, or cash, need to be in before the date above to receive Early-Bird Pricing
  Registration Deadline- Wednesday, January 7
     All registrations after this deadline will be placed on a team if space allows.
  Teams are determined- Monday, December 29
      If numbers do not meet the minimum to form a team, programs could be combined or canceled.
      Coaches are needed to have a team- No Coach, No Team.

Program Information:
  The Rookies Basketball programs are designed for individuals who want to learn, play, and experience the game of basketball in a fun and engaging atmosphere.  Each program provides the opportunity for children to learn the game, improve their skills, and enjoy playing.  Programs begin in January and meet on Saturdays for 1 1-hour- 1/2 hour Clinic, a 1/2 hour Scrimmage.

There are separate programs for boys and girls if numbers allow.
   Girls' program is from 8:00-9:00 am
   Boys' program is from 9:00-10:00 am

Volunteer Coaches Needed! 
     To make the programs successful, we need your help!  We rely on parents and community members to volunteer their time to coach groups of children who are looking for a positive basketball experience.  Please sign up to coach when you register your child, or volunteer if you don't have children in the program.

BASKETBALL PROGRAMS OFFERED:
  RecKids Basketball
    This is a child/parent clinic.  The program teaches the fundamentals of the game using a fun and energetic curriculum that has been tailored to this age group.  The program is Coed.
  K/1st/2nd Basketball
    The program provides the opportunity for children to learn the game, improve their skills, and enjoy playing.  The program begins in January and meets on Saturdays for 1 hour each time- 1/2 hour Clinic, 1/2 hour Scrimmage.  The program is Coed.
  3rd/4th Basketball
    The program is part of the CVRA League, which plays other Rec. Depts.  Teams meet twice a week for 1 hour each time- 1 practice and 1 game.  Games are on Saturdays in January & February.  Separate boys and girls programs are offered if numbers allow.  
  5th/6th Basketball
    The program is part of the CVRA League, which plays other Rec. Depts.  Teams meet twice a week for 1 hour each time- 1 practice and 1 game.  Games are on Saturdays in January & February.  Separate boys and girls programs are offered if numbers allow.

Registration Information
  • 1. Online registration is available with a credit card (a processing fee of $2 or 3.5 %, whichever is higher, plus 10 cents is added). Using this option, your balance is paid in full, and the person is enrolled.
  • 2. Offline registration is available at the Recreation Dept. with a check or cash. You have to come in to do this. Please be sure to create a Household Account online before coming in if you don't have one already.
  • 3. Registrations are NOT accepted over the phone or by email.
  • 4. Registration closes per the deadline stated above.
  • 5. Registration Deadline is used to ensure that there are enough participants to offer the program.
  • 6. Registration Deadline is also used to ensure that coaches are found for the number of teams that will be formed.
  • 7. After the Registration Deadline your child is put on a waiting list and placed on a team if numbers allow.
  • 8. No registrations are accepted after the first day of practice or when a team has reached the maximum number.
  • 9. If a program is Full, register for the waiting list using the Online Payment Option. No fee is charged.
  • Don't Wait! Register Early! (A program might be canceled due to low enrollment or filled).
