Soccer Ball Ordering Deadline- Sunday, August 16
A Ball can be ordered for your child during registration.
They will be given out at the Kick-off.
PROGRAM INFORMATION:
The Rookie Soccer programs are designed for individuals who want to learn, play, and experience the game in a fun, engaging atmosphere. Each program offers children the opportunity to learn the game, improve their skills, and enjoy playing. Programs begin in September and meet on Saturdays for one hour. There are separate programs for boys and girls.
Rookies 2 is a program just for 2nd graders to learn and prepare for the 3rd-5th Soccer programs through practices and scrimmages.
Note: the Rookies and Rookies 2 programs will be combined if there are not enough registered participants to offer two separate programs.
Kick-Off: Saturday, September 5
Boys- 8:00-9:00 am
Girls- 9:10-10:10 am
Practices/Scrimmages:
Saturdays: 1/2-hour practice followed by 1/2-hour scrimmage each week.
Equipment:
Ball for practices- Size 3 ball
Ball Purchase- You can purchase a ball during registration.
Cleats and Shin Guards are required
A Mouth Guard is recommended
Dress for the weather
Volunteer Coaches Needed!
To make the programs successful, we need your help! We rely on parents and community members to volunteer their time to coach groups of children seeking a positive youth sports experience. Please sign up to coach when you register your child, or volunteer if you don't have children in the program. **Team size is dependent on the number of volunteer coaches.
Coach's Meeting is planned for Saturday, September 5, during the Kick-off times.

Registration Information:
- 1. Online registration is available with a credit card (a processing fee of $2 or 3.5 %, whichever is higher, plus 10 cents is added). Using this option, your balance is paid in full, and the person is enrolled.
- 2. Offline registration is available at the Recreation Dept. with a check or cash. You have to come in to do this. Please be sure to create a Household Account online before coming in if you don't have one already.
- 3. Registrations are NOT accepted over the phone or by email.
- 4. Registration closes per the deadline stated above.
- 5. Registration Deadline is used to ensure that there are enough participants to offer the program.
- 6. Registration Deadline is also used to ensure that coaches are found for the number of teams that will be formed.
- 7. After the Registration Deadline your child is put on a waiting list and placed on a team if numbers allow.
- 8. No registrations are accepted after the first day of practice or when a team has reached the maximum number.
- 9. If a program is Full, register for the waiting list using the Online Payment Option. No fee is charged.
- Don't Wait! Register Early! (A program might be canceled due to low enrollment or filled).

- This program is for children entering Kindergarten and 1st grade in the Fall.
