Registration Deadline- Wednesday, March 8
If numbers do not meet the minimum to form a team programs could be combined or cancelled
Coaches are needed to have a team- No Coach, No Team
All registrations after this deadline will be placed on a team if space allows.
Note: You must register with the town you reside in first; so that the town gets the numbers needed to offer a program. If they don't get the needed numbers the Towns of Charlotte, Hinesburg, Shelburne and Williston work together, when they can, to see that every child has the opportunity to play.
Program Information:
Lacrosse is a fast paced sport that combines the power of football and hockey and the endurance, agility and strategy of soccer and basketball. The program focuses on individual and team concepts in a fun and learning environment. Lacrosse provides youth the opportunity to learn and play in a positive and safe environment.
US Lacrosse Membership is Required:
The 3rd-8th programs are part of the Northern Vermont Youth Lacrosse League (NVTYLL) that require all players to have a US Lacrosse Membership.
You will need your child's US Lacrosse Membership Number to register.
There will be a required question for your child's updated membership number that you need to complete registration.
If your child does not have a membership, one can be purchased on the US Lacrosse website- see link below.
3rd-8th Programs:
Fees: Registration fee below does NOT include the required US Lacrosse Membership.
US Lacrosse Membership:
You must renew or purchase a membership for your child each year.

Practices:
TBD- days and times are dependent on coach's availability.
Indoor Practices- begin in April and are one (1) day a week
Outdoor Practices- begin in May and are two days a week
If Williston & Hinesburg combines players to have a team. Practices will be scheduled in both towns.
Games:
Games are in May & June.
No games Memorial Day Weekend.

Equipment:
Players are required to provide their own equipment.
Boys' Teams- stick, helmet, gloves, arm pads, chest/shoulder pads and personal protective gear.
Girls' Teams- stick, eye mask. and personal protective gear.
Mouth Guards- are required for both groups.
Volunteer Coaches Needed:
The lacrosse programs continue to grow and the need for volunteers grows along with it. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up when you register your child or if you are a community member contact us to find out how to volunteer. A Coach's Meeting will be set for prior to the start of the programs.

LACROSSE PROGRAMS OFFERED:
KinderRec Lacrosse- Age 5 & 6
Coed, Child/Parent Clinic. The program teaches the fundamentals of the game using a fun and energetic curriculum that has been tailored to this age group.
1st-2nd Lacrosse
Separate boys and girls programs will be offered if numbers allow. The programs provide the opportunity for children to learn the game, improve their skills and enjoy playing.
3rd-4th Lacrosse
Separate boys and girls programs are offered. They are competitive leagues, which travel, to play other teams in the NVTYL League.
5th-6th Lacrosse
Separate boys and girls programs are offered. They are competitive leagues, which travel, to play other teams in the NVTYL League.
7th-8th Lacrosse
Separate boys and girls programs are offered. They are competitive leagues, which travel, to play other teams in the NVTYL League.
