Registration Deadline- Wednesday, November 19
All registrations after this deadline will be placed on a team if space allows.
Teams are determined- Thursday, November 20
If numbers do not meet the minimum to form a team, programs could be combined or canceled.
Coaches are needed to have a team; No coach, No Team.
PROGRAM INFORMATION:
The Rec. Youth Basketball Programs are geared for those who want to learn, play, and experience the game of basketball in a fun atmosphere. Each program differs in terms of the level of play and competition. Teams have the opportunity to play other area Recreation Dept teams.
Kick-off:
Saturday, December 6, will start the season with a Kick-off for each league.
This will be team assignments and practice times with coaches.
Kick-off times and location will be listed on your receipt. An email will be sent as a reminder.
Practices:
1 practice per week in the evening.
Practice nights are Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays. (based on Volunteer Coaches' schedules)
You are not allowed to choose. You will be asked for one conflict night.
3rd/4th Programs:
1 practice per week- 6:00-7:00p p.m. at Allen Brook School.
5th/6th Programs:
1 practice per week- 6:00-7:00p p.m. or 6:30-7:30p p.m. at Williston Central School.
Games:
Saturdays in Jan. & Feb. Game Schedules TBD and distributed.
Williston Teams play area Recreation Dept. teams
Equipment:
Players do not need and are not allowed to bring a ball. Equipment will be provided.
Dress to be active. All outdoor gear is to remain in the hallway.
No wet shoes or boots are allowed in the gyms.
Volunteer Coaches Needed!
To make the programs successful, we need your help! The programs rely on parents and community members to volunteer their time to work with groups of children who are looking for a positive soccer experience. Please sign up to coach when you register your child.
Coach's Meeting is planned for December 4 at 5:30p
NOTE:
There are no programs for 7th or 8th grade due to school teams that accept these age groups, and no other Rec. Dept teams to play.

Registration Information:
- 1. Online registration is available with a credit card (a processing fee of $2 or 3.5 %, whichever is higher, plus 10 cents is added). Using this option, your balance is paid in full, and the person is enrolled.
- 2. Offline registration is available at the Recreation Dept. with a check or cash. You have to come in to do this. Please be sure to create a Household Account online before coming in if you don't have one already.
- 3. Registrations are NOT accepted over the phone or by email.
- 4. Registration closes per the deadline stated above.
- 5. Registration Deadline is used to ensure that there are enough participants to offer the program.
- 6. Registration Deadline is also used to ensure that coaches are found for the number of teams that will be formed.
- 7. After the Registration Deadline your child is put on a waiting list and placed on a team if numbers allow.
- 8. No registrations are accepted after the first day of practice or when a team has reached the maximum number.
- 9. If a program is Full, register for the waiting list using the Online Payment Option. No fee is charged.
- Don't Wait! Register Early! (A program might be canceled due to low enrollment or filled).
