Registration Deadline- Sunday, November 26
All registrations after this deadline will be placed on a team if space allows.
Teams are determined- Tuesday, November 28
If numbers do not meet the minimum to form a team programs could be combined or canceled
Coaches are needed to have a team- No Coach, No Team

Note: You must register with the town you reside in first; so that the town gets the numbers needed to offer a program. If they don't get the needed numbers the Towns of Charlotte, Hinesburg, Shelburne, and Williston work together, when they can, to see that every child has the opportunity to play.

Program Information:
The Rec. Youth Basketball Programs are geared for those who want to learn, play, and experience the game of basketball in a fun atmosphere. Each program is different in the level of play and competition.

3rd-4th Programs:
Practices:  1 practice per week- 6:00-7:00 pm. Practices start the week of Dec. 11
Games:  Saturdays in Jan. & Feb. Game Schedules TBD and distributed.
Williston Teams play area Recreation Dept. teams
Equipment:
Players do not need and are not allowed to bring their own balls. Equipment provided.
Dress to be active. All outdoor gear is to remain in the hallway.
No wet shoes or boots are allowed in the gyms

5th-6th Programs:
Practices:  1 practice per week- 6:30-7:30 pm. Practices start the week of Dec. 11
Games:  Saturdays in Jan. & Feb. Game Schedules TBD and distributed.

(Practice days could change, for grades 5th-8th, if players are combined with other towns to form teams)

Volunteer Coaches Needed!
To make the programs successful we need your help! The programs rely on parents and community members to volunteer their time to work with groups of children who are looking for a positive soccer experience. Please sign up to coach when you register your child.
Coach's Meetings is planned for Thursday, November 30 at 5:30p

BASKETBALL PROGRAMS OFFERED:
KinderRec Basketball
This is a child/parent clinic.  The program teaches the fundamentals of the game using a fun and energetic curriculum that has been tailored to this age group. The program is Coed.
1st/2nd Basketball
The program provides the opportunity for children to learn the game, improve their skills, and enjoy playing. The program begins in January and meets on Saturdays for 1 hour each time- 1/2 hour Clinic, 1/2 hour Scrimmage.  Separate boys and girls programs are offered if numbers allow.
3rd/4th Basketball
The program is part of the CVRA League, which plays other Rec. Depts. Teams meet twice a week for 1 hour each time- 1 practice and 1 game. Games are on Saturdays in January & February. Separate boys and girls programs are offered if numbers allow.
5th/6th Basketball
The program is part of the CVRA League, which plays other Rec. Depts. Teams meet twice a week for 1 hour each time- 1 practice and 1 game. Games are on Saturdays in January & February. Separate boys and girls programs are offered if numbers allow.
7th/8th Basketball
The program is part of the CVRA League, which plays other Rec. Depts. Teams meet twice a week for 1 hour each time- 1 practice and 1 game. Games are on Saturdays in January & February. Boys program.

NOTE: There is no 7th/8th Girls league, due to no other teams to play.

Registration Information:

All Registrations are done online and there are two payment options at Checkout.
1. ONLINE PAYMENT OPTION- is with a credit card (convenience fee of $2 or 3.5 % is added, whichever is higher). Using this option your balance is paid in full and the person is enrolled.
2. OFFLINE PAYMENT OPTION- is with check or cash. Using this option, you have to drop off payment at the Rec. Dept., or use the drop box at the back entrance to the Town Hall Building- 7900 Williston Rd.
NOTE: When using the Offline Payment Option, the person is not enrolled until a check or cash is received and processed.
