Electricity & Coding Camp, Age 10-14 • Register • View Cart •


Playing with light, sound and motion using electricity and coding!

This will be a hands-on week in the WCS Creation Studio exploring basic concepts of electricity, creating circuit boards and coding with micro bits, Edison robots, and Lego EV3’s,  primarily using block based Scratch. 

No experience necessary and all materials are provided (but not for taking home). 

Director - Allan Miller
   Bio- Allan Miller is the Design Technology teacher at Williston Central School and has been leading LEGO Robotics Teams since 2004 in Vermont and Alaska.  He has been a middle school teacher and administrator for over 30 years.

Camp Notes
  • Final Balance for camps must be paid in full by June 13, 2025.
  • Your balance can be paid down by sending in regular payments before the due date.
  • Important Information for Enrichment Camps - See links below.
  • REGISTRATION DEADLINES:
  • 1. Online registrations close Thursday night before the start date of each Enrichment Camp.
  • 2. In-Person Registration- at the Rec. Dept. closes at 4:00 pm on Thursday before the start date of each Enrichment Camp.

Enrichment Camp Registration
  • 1. Online registration is available with a credit card (a processing fee of $2 or 3.5 %, whichever is higher, plus 10 cents is added). Using this option, your balance is paid in full, and the person is enrolled.
  • 2. If a non-refundable deposit is available, it can be paid for online. However, the remaining balance is due for all camps before the June date above.
  • 3. Offline registration is available at the Recreation Dept. with a check or cash. You have to come in to do this. Please be sure to create a Household Account online before coming in if you don't have one already.
  • 4. Registrations are NOT accepted over the phone or by email.
  • 5. After the June due date, deposits are Not accepted. Camp balance must be paid in full at the time of registration.
  • 6. If a camp is full, you can register for the waiting list using the Online Payment Option. No fee will be charged.
  • Williston Residents can apply for Financial Assistance if needed. See Link Below
  • Don't Wait! Register Early! (A camp could be closed due to maximum numbers not being reached).
