Saddle up and blast off as we join our cowboy and space friends on an adventure out of this world!
Campers will have a blast creating motorized LEGO trains to escape the Wild West bandits to building space rovers that will let us explore galaxies far away.
The LetGoYourMind experienced staff will guide campers through each step teaching them how to use axles, gears, battery packs, pulleys, and motors. Along the way, children will also build LEGO animals like Rex the dinosaur and Bullseye the horse while learning how to code them using a drag-and-drop-based interface with Bluetooth technology.
To Infinity and Beyond: LEGO building, coding, stop motion animation, and more
This week campers will have a blast creating motorized LEGO dune racers to escape the wild west bandits to building multiversal traveling machines that will let us explore galaxies far away.
The LetGoYourMind experienced staff will guide campers through each step teaching them how to use axles, gears, battery packs, pulleys, and motors. Along the way, children will also build LEGO animals like Slink the Dog and George the Gorilla while learning how to code them using a drag-and-drop-based interface with Bluetooth technology.
In the afternoon for both sessions, campers will have the opportunity to produce their own LEGO stop-motion animations!
Campers will devise a plot, build a set, and capture images. In addition, they will learn to edit their films, attach music, and add titles/credits using professional stop motion software.

Camp Notes:
- Final Balance for camps must be paid in full by June 13, 2025.
- Your balance can be paid down by sending in regular payments before the due date.

- REGISTRATION DEADLINES:
- 1. Online registrations close Thursday night before the start date of each Enrichment Camp.
- 2. In-Person Registration- at the Rec. Dept. closes at 4:00 pm on Thursday before the start date of each Enrichment Camp.
Registration Information
- 1. Online registration is available with a credit card (a processing fee of $2 or 3.5 %, whichever is higher, plus 10 cents is added). Using this option, your balance is paid in full, and the person is enrolled.
- 2. If a non-refundable deposit is available, it can be paid for online. However, the remaining balance is due for all camps before the June date above.
- 3. Offline registration is available at the Recreation Dept. with a check or cash. You have to come in to do this. Please be sure to create a Household Account online before coming in if you don't have one already.
- 4. Registrations are NOT accepted over the phone or by email.
- 5. After the June due date, deposits are Not accepted. Camp balance must be paid in full at the time of registration.
- 6. If a camp is full, you can register for the waiting list using the Online Payment Option. No fee will be charged.
