Come join an exciting world of space exploration as you build and take home your very own Orbiting Solar System Kit! You will assemble your own model, learn all about our planetary neighborhood, and watch the planets move around the sun with a wind-up motor inside. Set the planets in motion with a flick of your wrist!
Take part in other exciting activities involving physics, air pressure, and density. Check out our real meteorite fragment sample! Watch a cosmic rocket shoot up fifty feet into the air! Be mesmerized as you assemble and take home your own stunt plane and learn about the four major forces of flight.
Campers will also witness some neat demonstrations from your instructor. Watch as an egg is magically sucked into a bottle, behold a tornado being created, and much more in this fun and exciting program!

Camp Notes
- Final Balance for camps must be paid in full by June 5, 2026.
- Your balance can be paid down by sending in regular payments before the due date.

- REGISTRATION DEADLINES:
- 1. Online registrations close Thursday night before the start date of each Enrichment Camp.
- 2. In-Person Registration- at the Rec. Dept. closes at 4:00 pm on Thursday before the start date of each Enrichment Camp.
Enrichment Camp Registration
- Online registration is available with a credit card (a processing fee of $2 or 3.5 %, whichever is higher, plus 10 cents is added). Using this option, your balance is paid in full, and the person is enrolled.
- If a non-refundable deposit is available, it can be paid for online. However, the remaining balance is due for all camps before the June date above.
- Offline registration is available at the Recreation Dept. with a check or cash. You have to come in to do this. Please be sure to create a Household Account online before coming in if you don't have one already.
- Registrations are NOT accepted over the phone or by email.
- After the June due date, deposits are not accepted. Camp balance must be paid in full at the time of registration.
- If a camp is full, you can register for the waiting list using the Online Payment Option. No fee will be charged.
- Cancellations & Transfers: must be made at the Dept. You cannot do it online. Please contact us to cancel or transfer a program.
- The Dept reserves the right to cancel or consolidate any programs that do not meet the minimum participation required. If canceled, a full refund will be issued. Participants will be notified by email of any changes or cancellations.
- Don’t Wait! Register Early! (A program might be canceled due to low enrollment or filled).
