Registration Deadline- Tuesday, August 26
After the date above, all registrations will be placed on a waiting list.
If space allows, families on the waiting list will be contacted.
Soccer Ball Ordering Deadline- Sunday, August 17
A Ball can be ordered for your child during registration.
They will be given out at the Kick-off.
PROGRAM INFORMATION:
The Youth Soccer program is geared toward those who want to learn, play, and experience the game of soccer in a fun atmosphere. Separate programs will be offered to boys and girls if numbers allow. Teams will have the opportunity to play other Recreation Dept teams.
Practices:
1 practice per week in the evening.
Practice nights are Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays. (based on Volunteer Coaches' schedules)
You are not allowed to choose. You will be asked for one conflict night.
Games:
Saturdays in Sept. & Oct. Game Schedule TBD and distributed.
Williston Teams play Hinesburg & Charlotte Rec. Teams.
Equipment:
Ball for practices- Size 4 ball
Ball Purchase- You can purchase a ball during registration.
Cleats and shin guards are required
A mouthguard is recommended
Dress for the weather for practice and games
Volunteer Coaches Needed!
To make the programs successful, we need your help! The programs rely on parents and community members to volunteer their time to work with groups of children seeking a positive soccer experience. Please sign up to coach when you register your child.
A Coach's Meeting is planned for Thursday, August 28
NOTE:
There are no programs for 6th, 7th, or 8th grade due to school teams that accept these age groups, and there are no other Rec. teams to play.
