Tai Chi Intro, Age 50+ - Tai Chi Intro The ancient art of Tai Chi has become increasingly popular as people are finding that it improves balance, increases mindfulness, and relaxes the mind and body. Each class will present sequences of movements derived from the Sun style which is slow, smooth, and upright in posture making it especially accessible to those over 50 or with impaired mobility. You will learn to wave your hands in the clouds, repel wild monkeys, and separate the earth from the sky. What power! What fun! Zone are low impact, with different levels of intensity. Instructors will show you options to take it high or low with lots of energy - you decide if you need to take your cardio up a notch or 2 with intensity or need to work your muscles more intentional work. Accessible Yoga, Age 18+ - Accessible Yoga Join this Vinyasa Yoga Flow program appropriate for everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners! Classes will begin with a brief mindfulness meditation, then move into an easy practice that can be done on a yoga mat, in a chair, or both. You will practice moving your bodies with your breath, and move into some classic yoga shapes that can be done on a yoga mat or while sitting on a chair. The program will end with a brief wind-down meditation. No experience necessary! The instructor will demonstrate each shape of the sequence, you'll move through each sequence slowly so you have time to find the shape that works for your body. The program will concentrate on developing upper and lower body strength as well as improving balance and strengthening your core. In this dementia-friendly class, participants are encouraged to work within their abilities while socializing and having fun! Registration Deadline- Sunday, December 29 Registrations are not accepted after this date due to preparing lists for the schools.Program Information: The program is for grades K-8. The program is at Cochran's and meets Wednesdays. The program is from 2:40-4:30 pm. Lessons start at 2:40p and free ski/ride starts at 3:30p for levels 4 and above. The program meets in January, February, and March. The 1st-8th program meets for 7 weeks. The Kindergarten Program meets for 6 weeks. The program does NOT meet the week of the February Break. The emphasis is on learning to downhill ski or snowboard, through weekly lessons. The program is for the participant who wishes to learn or improve their skills. All participants are required to take a weekly lesson. Bus transportation is available to Williston Students grades 1st-8th at ABS and WCS. Buses leave the schools at 2:15 pm. Kindergarten children must be transported and have an adult on the mountain with them Transportation is back to WCS Only, leaving Cochran's at 5:00 pm. Buses arrive at WCS by 5:15 pm. Parents picking their children up, who took the bus, at the mountain must do so before 4:40 pm to check them out. The program is at Cochran's and meets Wednesdays. The program is from 2:40-4:30 pm. Lessons start at 2:40p and free ski/ride starts at 3:30p for levels 4 and above. The program meets in January, February, and March. The 1st-8th program meets for 7 weeks. The Kindergarten Program meets for 6 weeks. The program does NOT meet the week of the February Break. The emphasis is on learning to downhill ski or snowboard, through weekly lessons. The program is for the participant who wishes to learn or improve their skills. All participants are required to take a weekly lesson. Bus transportation is available to Williston Students grades 1st-8th at ABS and WCS. Buses leave the schools at 2:15 pm. Kindergarten children must be transported and have an adult on the mountain with them Transportation is back to WCS Only, leaving Cochran's at 5:00 pm. Buses arrive at WCS by 5:15 pm. Parents picking their children up, who took the bus, at the mountain must do so before 4:40 pm to check them out. NOTE: Children who are registered for "With Transportation" are responsible for the following: - For getting on all ski/ride and winter gear at school with help from school personnel and parent volunteers - For finding their equipment at the mountain and putting it on - Knowing whether they are taking the bus or being picked up at the end of each day - For those taking the bus, returning their equipment to the Truck/Trailer at the end of each day If this is overwhelming for your child you may consider registering without transportation or picking up at the end of each day at the mountain at 4:30 pm.Important Information: (See Links Below) Program Information- This has all the information you need to prepare your child for the program and to ensure they have a successful time. Accessible Yoga, Age 18+ - Accessible Yoga Join this Vinyasa Yoga Flow program appropriate for everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners! Classes will begin with a brief mindfulness meditation, then move into an easy practice that can be done on a yoga mat, in a chair, or both. You will practice moving your bodies with your breath, and move into some classic yoga shapes that can be done on a yoga mat or while sitting on a chair. The program will end with a brief wind-down meditation. No experience necessary! The program will concentrate on developing upper and lower body strength as well as improving balance and strengthening your core. In this dementia-friendly class, participants are encouraged to work within their abilities while socializing and having fun! Accessible Yoga, Age 18+ - Accessible Yoga Join this Vinyasa Yoga Flow program appropriate for everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners! Classes will begin with a brief mindfulness meditation, then move into an easy practice that can be done on a yoga mat, in a chair, or both. You will practice moving your bodies with your breath, and move into some classic yoga shapes that can be done on a yoga mat or while sitting on a chair. The program will end with a brief wind-down meditation. No experience necessary! The instructor will demonstrate each shape of the sequence, you'll move through each sequence slowly so you have time to find the shape that works for your body. Registration Deadline- Sunday, December 29 Registrations are not accepted after this date due to preparing lists for the schools.Program Information: The program is for grades K-8. The program is at Cochran's and meets Wednesdays. The program is from 2:40-4:30 pm. Lessons start at 2:40p and free ski/ride starts at 3:30p for levels 4 and above. The program meets in January, February, and March. The 1st-8th program meets for 7 weeks. The Kindergarten Program meets for 6 weeks. The program does NOT meet the week of the February Break. The emphasis is on learning to downhill ski or snowboard, through weekly lessons. The program is for the participant who wishes to learn or improve their skills. All participants are required to take a weekly lesson. Bus transportation is available to Williston Students grades 1st-8th at ABS and WCS. Buses leave the schools at 2:15 pm. Kindergarten children must be transported and have an adult on the mountain with them Transportation is back to WCS Only, leaving Cochran's at 5:00 pm. Buses arrive at WCS by 5:15 pm. Parents picking their children up, who took the bus, at the mountain must do so before 4:40 pm to check them out. Circular Weaving Intro, Age 13+ - Introduction to Circular Weaving - Spring Come learn this fun and relaxing way to weave!This program will introduce weavers to the circular loom. Participants will either make a bowl or a flat piece and will be shown a variety of techniques to create different effects. Finishing techniques will also be covered. Participants will be provided yarn and a loom to keep. Scissors and yarn needles will be available during the program. Instructor: Bradie Hansen Bio: Bradie Hansen is a fiber crafter, artist, author and psychologist. She teaches tapestry weaving and the Weaving Your Story programs at the Shelburne Craft School where she also helps to manage the fiber studio, and she is passionate about making fiber art accessible to all people. Bradie is also the co-author of The Long Grief Journey which is about long-term and unresolved grief.

Classes will begin with a brief mindfulness meditation, then move into an easy practice that can be done on a yoga mat, in a chair, or both. You will practice moving your bodies with your breath, and move into some classic yoga shapes that can be done on a yoga mat or while sitting on a chair. The program will end with a brief wind-down meditation. No experience necessary! The instructor will demonstrate each shape of the sequence, you'll move through each sequence slowly so you have time to find the shape that works for your body. Circular Weaving Intro, Age 13+ - Introduction to Circular Weaving - Spring Come learn this fun and relaxing way to weave!This program will introduce weavers to the circular loom. Participants will either make a bowl or a flat piece and will be shown a variety of techniques to create different effects. Finishing techniques will also be covered. Participants will be provided yarn and a loom to keep. Scissors and yarn needles will be available during the program. Instructor: Bradie Hansen Bio: Bradie Hansen is a fiber crafter, artist, author and psychologist. She teaches tapestry weaving and the Weaving Your Story programs at the Shelburne Craft School where she also helps to manage the fiber studio, and she is passionate about making fiber art accessible to all people. Bradie is also the co-author of The Long Grief Journey which is about long-term and unresolved grief.

Accessible Yoga, Age 18+ - Accessible Yoga Join this Vinyasa Yoga Flow program appropriate for everyone from beginners to experienced practitioners! Classes will begin with a brief mindfulness meditation, then move into an easy practice that can be done on a yoga mat, in a chair, or both. You will practice moving your bodies with your breath, and move into some classic yoga shapes that can be done on a yoga mat or while sitting on a chair. The program will end with a brief wind-down meditation. No experience necessary! The instructor will demonstrate each shape of the sequence, you'll move through each sequence slowly so you have time to find the shape that works for your body. NOTE: Geared toward adults 50+ but open to everyone age 18+.Program Info: Day: Mondays Time: 1:00-2:00 pm Location: "R.E.C. Zone"- 94 Harvest Lane, Williston Fee: $5 per class. Robin believes in approaching yoga with gentleness and compassion. In classes, you are always welcome to engage in YOUR practice. Robin's goal is to guide you through a practice that allows you to discover how you feel in your body and how you can make adjustments to feel the best in your body.
